Derek John Crompton passed peacefully at home on 7 November surrounded by family. Served in the RAF from 1955-1986 before working as Bursar at Shrewsbury School. Born Hereford 1932. Educated at Doncaster Grammar School and University College Durham. Beloved husband of Eunice for 61 years, father to John, Neil and Zoe, and grand-father to Isabel, Thomas, Ben and George. Funeral Service at St.Lawrence’s Church, Church Stretton, Shropshire at 1200 on Friday 29 November. No flowers please. Any donations if desired to Royal British Legion.
