Angela 'Lillian' R. Raimo
Former Union resident, beloved mother and grandmother
Angela "Lillian" R. Raimo (nee Lanza), 79, of Manchester, N.J., formerly of Union, N.J., passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at home.
The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, N.J., on Wednesday at 9 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be in Holy Spirit Church in Union at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park also in Union. Born in East Orange, N.J., Angela lived in Union for many years before moving to Manchester, N.J.
Angela was the wife of the late Alfonse J. Raimo for 55 years until he passed away in 2018. She was the mother of Alan Raimo and his wife, Tracey, and Christopher Raimo and his girlfriend, Heather Rea. She was the sister of John Lanza, and the late Joan Lombardo, as well as the sister-in-law of Joseph Lombardo. She was the grandmother of Liliana and Dominick Raimo, and the aunt of Marissa Rendeiro (nee Lombardo), and Jennifer Pinho (nee Lombardo).
