JESTER, Carolyn Bourn Jones Carolyn was born at Methodist Hospital in Oak Cliff on December 2, 1938. Surrounded by loved ones, Carolyn died peacefully at Methodist Hospital on March 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul H. Jones, her mother, Margaret Penn Jones, her brother, Kent Jones, and her sister-in-law, Peggy Jones. Carolyn married Don W. Jester in 1956. He was devoted to her for 63 years. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Don; son, the Rev. Steve Jester (Diana) of Louisville, KY; son, David Jester (Evy) of Paris, France; grandson, David Ross Jester of Louisville, KY; step-mother-in-law, Alice Jester; and her loyal buddy, Mr. Kitty. We thank and remember her many friends, the staff at Methodist Hospital, and special friends and caregivers Dr. Steve Haley and Dr. Gene Bigham. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 9, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church, Dallas.
