June Eloise Brooks Hightower, died peacefully on Monday, February 24th, 2020. She was born in Dallas, TX on July 6, 1928 to Frank and Jenola Brooks and graduated from Forest High School in 1945. In 1946, she married a young Navy corpsman, George Hubert Hightower, who predeceased her in 1987. June continued to enjoy reading, the Rangers, traveling and playing tennis until she was 86. She is survived by her siblings, Peggy Morris of Dallas and Frank Brooks of New Boston, TX, children Rick Hightower and wife, Lista and Mark Hightower and wife, Marilyn, grandchildren Hayley Hightower Louden and husband, Derek, Hunter Hightower and wife, Katie and Anne Hightower Hillin and husband, Brian and great-grandchildren, Brooks and Blake Louden. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 6, at 2pm at 1st Baptist Church of Richardson.
