Army veteran, beloved husband, father, grandfather
Domenic J. Lombardi, 91, of Florham Park, N.J., formerly of Livingston, N.J., passed away peacefully at his home on Feb. 26, 2020. Domenic was a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving in combat during the Korean Conflict in the 7th Infantry Division, 32nd regiment. He worked many years as a plant engineer before retiring.
He was the beloved husband of 66 years to Antoinette Lombardi; devoted father of Domenic J. Lombardi and his wife, Debra, Diane Maida, her husband, Antonio, Mary Ann Ardolino and her late husband, Anthony, Kathleen McKee and her husband, Raymond, Gary Lombardi and his wife, Amy; also 13 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Domenic and Margaret Lombardi, and his sisters, Rachael Dandeo and Jean LaSapio.
Visitation is at the Leonardis Memorial Home, 210 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park, on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. The funeral is on Monday, assembling at the funeral home at 8:45 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover, N.J., at 9:45 a.m. Entombment is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
