Funeral Mass is Thursday in Verona for U.S. Army veteran
Anthony T. Magrini, 91, of Toms River, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020.
He was the beloved father of Karen Pezzolla and her husband, Stephen Parigi, and Susan Scannell and her husband, David; cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Kimberley and Anthony Pezzolla; adored great-grandfather of Jaden and Tatumn; dear brother of his twin sister, Jenny DiLuccio, and the late Ernest, Joseph, Albert, Helen and Rose, and former husband of the late Joan Magrini.
Mr. Magrini was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. Before retiring in 1986, he was an engineer for Becton Dickinson in Rutherford. Tony was an active parishioner at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Berkeley Township, N.J., and Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona, N.J.
Funeral is Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, N.J. Funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake, Verona. Entombment is in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Send condolences to stellatofuneralhomes.com.
