Mass is on Saturday for great-great-grandmother of 15
Antonia "Antoinette" Aguanno, 94, of Parsippany, N.J., passed away on Feb. 10, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 1212 Kelly St., Union, N.J., on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 10:15 a.m. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union, on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Born and raised in Newark, N.J., daughter of Vito and Filomena (Bellacosa) Abbaticola, Antoinette graduated from West Side High School in 1943. She worked as supervisor with the Howard Savings Bank in Newark for 25 years until her retirement in 1990.
A daughter of Italian immigrants, Antoinette was very patriotic and loved the American flag, but most of all she loved taking care of and spoiling her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Antoinette was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Aguanno. She was the loving mother of Phyllis Ann Miceli and her late husband, Gregory, and the late Michael Aguanno and his wife, Sharon, and cherished grandmother of the late Victoria Munro, Carmine Cimino, Vincent Cimino, Antoinette Fredericks, Nancy Anne Aguanno Hernandez, Michelle Aguanno, Anthony Aguanno, Michael Aguanno, Mark Aguanno, and Dana Lisa Bassolino. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
