Constance J. Filippello, 77, of Sarasota, Fla., died on Jan. 19, 2020.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave. Roseland, N.J. 07068, shookfarmer.com.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, N.J., with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J.
Constance was raised in Dayton, Ohio, moved to South Miami, Fla., resided in Roseland for many years and settled in Sarasota, Fla. Prior to her retirement, she was a teacher for Dade County in Florida and the Essex County Vocational School in West Caldwell, N.J. She served on the West Essex Board of Education for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dale and Alma Upham, and her beloved husband, Robert J. Filippello.
She is survived by her beloved children, Michael Filippello (Robert), Lara Filippello, and Thomas Filippello (Anne); cherished grandchildren, Angus and Pascale; dear brother, Ronald Upham (Nancy).
