Cary H. Smolen
Active in his community and Lions Club International
Cary H. Smolen, 67, of Middlebury, Conn., and formerly of Stony Point, N.Y., and Clifton, N.J., passed away on Jan. 16, 2020.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice; his son, Mitchell Smolen and his wife, Chelsey; his stepdaughter, Andrea Di Giovanni and her husband, Tom; his dear sister, Clare Miller and her husband, Gerald; his adoring grandchildren, Olivia, Ava and Lucia; his loving nieces, Francine Drucker and Marla Sommer. He was also a grand-uncle to Kayla, Sophie, Brooke, Sam, Jack and Molly.
Cary graduated from Rutgers University, class of 1974. Cary was a partner in Ralph Parnes Associates in Paramus, N.J. Cary was active in his community and was extremely proud of his more than 25 years of activity in the Lions Club International as well as serving as Lions past district governor.
