Ellen Vaughn Mooney, 84, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, at home in Parsippany, N.J.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Rd., Parsippany, on Monday at 9 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Christopher Church at 10 a.m. Interment is private. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Born in Jersey City, N.J., Mrs. Mooney lived in Jersey City, Sayreville, N.J., and for the last 10 years in Parsippany. She worked in the payroll department of AT&T for 36 years, in offices in both New York and New Jersey.
Ellen was the wife of the late William Aloysius Mooney; sister of Grace Cunningham and the late Joan Duffy and James Crawford, and sister-in-law of Beverly Crawford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many close friends.
