Longtime St. Catherine parishioner, devoted to her family
Ann M. Keenan, 87, of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away at her residence on Dec. 15, 2019.
Services begin on Thursday, Dec. 19, at 9 a.m., at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. The Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove, with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookscedargrove.com
Born in Jersey City, N.J., to the late Felix and Josephine Salge, Ann lived in Union City, N.J. and Jersey City, N.J., before settling in Cedar Grove in 1962. A homemaker, Ann was devoted to the care of her family. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Catherine's.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Keenan, son, John Keenan, and daughter, Nancy Keenan.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Keenan and his wife, Lisa, and Robert Keenan and his wife Melissa; daughter-in-law, Debbie Keenan; grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, and Alexandra Keenan and Taylor, Logan, and Olivia Keenan; and many nieces and nephews.
