Arthur W. Goodman, son of Herman and Celia Goodman, passed away Nov. 16, 2019.
Born and raised in East Orange, N.J., Arthur graduated East Orange High with a competitive love of sports, playing football and track. After high school he joined the Marine Corp to serve his country during World War II. Following the war, he continued his education at Princeton University, where he graduated with an engineering degree. Not soon after he met the love of his life, Ruth Handler, and within months they wed and stayed married until Ruth's passing in 2017.
Arthur had a successful business with his father, Herman and Arthur's two sons, Howard and Peter. Arthur is survived by his children, Howard, Peter, and Donna, and grandchildren, Jessica, Alexandra, Carly, and son-in-law, Tiger Fallon and partner, Amanda.
Services will be held Sunday, Nov. 24, at 2:30 p.m. at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston, N.J.
