Longtime Maplewood resident; worked at Paper Mill Playhouse
Barbara MacLaughlin (nee Verducci), 76, of Union, N.J., passed away at Overlook Medical Center on Nov. 27, 2019.
Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, N.J., Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 6 p.m. Burial of ashes will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J., Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m.

Barbara was born in Orange and lived in Maplewood, N.J., for over 40 years before moving to Union last year. She worked in the box office at Paper Mill Playhouse for many years and volunteered at Overlook Medical Center's gift shop. She was a member of the Union Seniors. Barbara was part of the "Church Street Girls."
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Richard MacLaughlin. She is survived by her sons, Scott and Stephen MacLaughlin; a sister, Mary Ann Asadorian; nephew, Gary Asadorian Jr. and niece, Laura Danielsen, who loving referred to her as "Aunt Bobbie."
