Aaron 'Ray' Fischman
Loving and caring father, grandfather and great-grandfather
Aaron ("Ray") Fischman, 95, of Mountainside, N.J., passed away on Oct. 9, 2019.
Visitors will be received on Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 267 Centre St., Nutley, N.J. Funeral service will be at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ray is survived by his loving children: Ronnie Fischman Plasner; Elaine Fischman, Franne Mannino and her husband, Tadd; and Phil Fischman and his wife, Valeri. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Tracy Plasner Mijanovic and her husband, Jovan; Brian Plasner and his wife, Laura; Laurie Plasner Hurst and her husband, Fred, and Kate Mannino.
He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Joseph and Matthew Mijanovic; Isabella, Alissa and Marco Plasner; and Michael, Tyler, and Derek Hurst.
Ray considered himself blessed to have the special friendship of Ann Dougherty. He was predeceased by his wife, Leda (Lee); his brother, Leonard, and his parents, Sadie (Dittelman) and Abraham.
