Angelo Altieri, 74, of Clifton, N.J., passed away on Monday, Sept. 30, 2019.
He lived, laughed and loved with his whole heart and will be missed tremendously by his family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair, N.J. Interment is at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair, N.J. Visiting will be on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair.
Angelo was born and raised in Aquilonia (AV), Italy, before coming to the United States and settling in Clifton. He was the owner of Head Games Salon in Little Falls, N.J., for 45 years and was a hairdresser for Via Veneto in Cedar Grove, N.J., for the past two years. He was a member of the St. Vito's Society in Montclair.
Angelo is survived by his wife, Cleofe (nee Tartaglia) Altieri; daughters, Daniela Buscio and husband Tony, Sabrina Gonnello and husband Richard; brothers, Vito Altieri and Michele Altieri; and grandchildren, Tony and Giovanni Buscio and Gianluca Gonnello. He was predeceased by his parents, Vito Gaetano and Maria (nee Marzullo) Altieri.
