SMITH, Adam "Brian" On the evening of November 6, 2019, Adam "Brian" Smith left this earthly world and passed onto Jesus in Heaven after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Miami, Oklahoma on June 29, 1965, the son of Andrew T. and Carol F. Smith and grew up in Commerce, OK. He was the band director and softball coach at Hillcrest High School in Dallas, Texas, where he earned Teacher of the Year in 2010. As a PSSA member he was instrumental in multiple charity events and won several softball championships. Brian had a strong faith and was active in the church orchestra at Park Cities Baptist Church and was a member of the the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, both in Dallas, TX. He is survived by his three children of the home, Adam Chaswell Smith, Caitlyn Christine Smith and Cameron Andrew Smith, all of Dallas, TX. The family is planning a Celebration of Life at the Hillcrest High School Gymnasium on November 17 at 2:00 pm in Dallas, Texas.
