Beloved husband and loving father; Army veteran
Alessandro Trento Jr., 83, of Fairfield, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019.
Alessandro was the beloved husband of MaryAnn Trento (nee DiBernardo), loving father of JoAnn Vandenberg and her husband, Jim and Alexander Trento III and his wife, Karen.
He was the dear brother of Angelo and Florence Trento, Marie Flannigan, Michael and Roseanne Trento and sister-in-law, Patricia Trento, adored grandfather of Marissa and Peter Vandenberg and Valerie Trento, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
An Army veteran, Alessandro was a lifelong member of the AMVETS. He also worked for Pechter's Bakery located in Harrison, N.J., for many years.
The funeral is Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield. The Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, Fairfield. Interment is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
