Beloved mother and grandmother, 'gentle and faith-filled'
Anna Iwanowski (nee Tabak), age 93, passed away peacefully on Oct. 11, 2019.
Anna was raised in Harrison, N.J., and was a longtime resident of North Arlington, N.J., where she was a member of Queen of Peace Church. She also lived in Smithville, N.J. and had been a resident of Maris Grove, Glen Mills, Pa., for the past 10 years.
Anna was a gentle, selfless, faith-filled woman who was devoted to her husband, children, and family. Anna carried herself with a quiet grace and her family has been abundantly blessed to be loved by her.
She was the daughter of the late Michael and Joanna Krecioch Tabak, wife of the late Henry Iwanowski (2018), and mother of the late Joanne Iwanowski.
Surviving are her beloved children: Rev. Thomas Iwanowski, Robert (Joan) Iwanowski, Raymond (Donna) Iwanowski, Henry Michael (Gloria) Iwanowski, and Mary Ann (Jerry) Sheridan, 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is on Monday, Oct. 14, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Prayer vigil is Monday evening at 6:30pm at the church.
A Funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills. Committal Service is on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 12:30pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, Arlington, N.J. Service in the New Mausoleum Chapel.
