Anna Lombardi (nee Pirrello), 90, of Montclair, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair. Interment is at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting will be on Friday, Oct. 11, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair.
Anna's love and devotion was like no other. She spent a majority of her life living for others, especially for her family. After marrying the love of her life, Carl (Nookie) Lombardi, she spent all her time caring for her family and her friends, making everyone who came into her home feel like it was their own.
Anna is survived by her son, Carl Lombardi and his wife, Kathleen; her daughters, Gail Lombardi Link and her husband, Donald Link, Roseann Portuese and her husband, Philip, and her brother, Peter Pirrello. Anna is also survived by her beloved four grandchildren, Jacob, Cayla, Phillip Jr. and his wife, Caitlin, and Andrew, whom Anna loved dearly. She is also survived by her great grandchild, Luke James. Anna's children and grandchildren will miss her to no end and will forever cherish her memory in their hearts. She was predeceased by her husband Carl "Nookie" Lombardi in 2009; by her parents, Joseph and Rose Pirrello, and by her brother, Anthony Pirrello.
