Alison Ann Walton, 52, of Cedar Grove, N.J., lost her courageous battle with breast cancer on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019.
Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. Cremation will be private. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookscedargrove.com.
Alison was born in Glen Ridge, N.J., and graduated from Glen Ridge High School and went on to graduate from Ramapo College. Alison was known for her big heart, infectious smile, and bubbly personality. Anyone lucky enough to have met her had an instant friend. Alison was currently employed as a manager of pricing at GAF in Parsippany, N.J., and had worked previously as a Director at Hertz in Park Ridge, N.J.
Predeceased by her father, William Brown, she leaves behind the "lights of her life," her children, June, Eric and Isabelle; her mother, June Brown-Ewing, and stepfather, George Ewing; sisters, Kim Albetta (Vic) and Deb Waterman (Len); nieces, Elizabeth, Shelly, Carly, and Kelly, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be missed by her enormous circle of friends and co-workers who held her hand throughout her illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Walton Children Education Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
