Group Captain Richard David Bates, AFC, of Blockley, passed away peacefully on 6th April 2019, at Newlands, Stow-on-the-Wold, aged 85 years. Loving husband to Heather, devoted father to David and loved by the wider family. A Funeral Service will be held at St Peter and St Paul Church, Blockley, on Saturday 27th April 2019 at 12 noon. Family flowers only, however donations to The RAF Benevolent Fund may be left at church or sent c/o Allen & Son, Bank View, High Street, Moreton-in-Marsh, GL56 0AF.
