Nothing made her happier than spending time with family
The family of Anita G. Hannoch regretfully announces the passing of their dear mother and grandmother on Sept. 16, 2019. Anita was the daughter of the late Faye and William Goldman, sister of the late Barbara Schneiderman.
Anita was born Jan. 9, 1931, in New York City. She grew up in Perth Amboy, N.J., and moved to Livingston, N.J., in the 1950's. She graduated from Douglass College (Rutgers University), where she met the love of her life, the late Franklin Hannoch Jr. They were married for 65 years and raised their children, James and Nancy, in Livingston. They became Florida residents and loved the time they spent living at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Fla.
Anita was a member of Mountain Ridge Country Club and the Ocean Reef Club where she enjoyed playing golf and swimming. She was also an avid mah-jong, canasta, and bridge player.
Nothing made her happier than spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Anita was predeceased by her parents, her sister, and her husband. She is survived by James and Kathleen Hannoch, and Nancy Berger and her grandchildren, Carolyn Hannoch, Allyson Berger and Andrew Hannoch.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, N.J. Entombment to follow at B'nai Jeshurun Cemetery, Hillside, N.J.
