TEEL, Allen "Al" Dayton Allen "Al" Dayton Teel was born on May 10, 1937, to Andrew Dayton and Olive Harris Teel in Lookeba, OK passed away on September 9, 2019, in Amarillo, Texas. Al started his career as a Police Officer in California, served as a Postal Inspector for nearly 20 years and spent the last 30+ years as the preeminent Private Investigator in Dallas. Al was active and never missed an opportunity to ride his bike or travel the world, and the most important part of his life was his family that included all those that he loved both near and far away. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Doug Teel and Dale Teel, his sisters Eleanor Chattham and Veo Gustafson, his nephew Gene House and his grandson Kyle Matthew Holguin. Survivors include his three daughters, Lisa Mewbourn, Leslie Lewis and her husband Scott, Lorie Faulkner and her husband Tony, grandchildren Lindsay Irwin, Nicolas Alan, Gabby Scott and Jackson Mewbourn, great-grandchild Cayden Allen Holguin, his first wife, Linda Kempter and numerous beloved nieces and nephews whom he cherished. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Hinton, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 14th at 3:00pm with graveside service at Hinton Cemetery to follow.
