YOUNG, Barbara Rusel Barrow Barbara Rusel Barrow Young peacefully went to be with our Lord on Tuesday March 12, 2019. She was surrounded by her son David Young and daughter Sue Moore. Barbara "Rusty" was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Young, and parents Evie and Mary Wells Barrow and siblings Cecil, Opal, and Jeanie. Barbara was born in Commerce, Tx. December 8, 1924. She then moved to South Dallas where she grew up and met J.B. at church when she was 14 years old. He was her one and only true love for 73 years. Barbara was a real leader in her church at Northway Baptist in Dallas and Lakeland Baptist in Lewisville. She taught sunday school classes of all ages and served on many sepcial committees for the church. She and J.B. loved music and played in the Country Silver Band after retirement. They also enjoyed going to the Lewisville sing-a-long for 16 years. Rusty was a nurse for Dr. Douglas Ave. Clinic for Dr. Bass and Temple for over 30 years and enjoyed every minute until the day she retired. She is survived by her son David Young and wife Beverly, daughter Sue Young Moore, and husband Bob, and dog Leo, grandson Chad Harris, and wife Aimee, grandson Matthew Moore, and wife Heather, and great grand children Luke, Trevor, Rennie, Gavin, and Alexis, and many nieces and nephews, and care givers Gale Williams and Corazon Garcia. A service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2019, at Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.
