WOODS, Barbara Jean It is with great heartache that the family of Barbara J. Woods announces her passing on April 13, 2019 in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1935 in San Angelo, Tx to her late parents, Valaree and Raphiel Bundage. As an educator in area school districts, she retired after 43 years of service from Skyline High School in the Dallas Independent School District. She was well known as having an enormous heart and being extremely efficient. She is survived by her husband, W. D. Woods; her daughter, Wrenell D. Woods of Duncanville, Tx; her son, Wendell Derek Woods (Shana) of DeSoto, Tx; sister, Elray Young (Virgil); her grandchildren, Bryce Woods, Brielle Woods, Wrenden Bower; several cousins, extended family members and friends. Barbara is also survived by Earlene W. Boykins of DeSoto, Tx, a cousin she grew up with and who always remained by her side. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 1:30pm at The Oaks Baptist Church, 801 E. I-20, Grand Prairie, Tx. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service from 12:30pm-1:30pm.
