TROYER, Carl W. Carl Wayne Troyer was born November 6, 1927 and went home to be with the Lord he loved on May 25, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years: Ardath Futch Troyer, his parents: Mildred and Charles Troyer and a brother: Ray Troyer. He is survived by his children Emily Troyer Dunlap, Ed Troyer and his wife Claire Troyer, brothers CJ Troyer and Milton Troyer, grand daughters Lauren Troyer Saternus, Erin Dunlap and Megann Kramer and great grand daughters Sydney and Quinn Saternus. He served in the Army as a young man and had a distinguished career as an accountant . He retired after many years at Southland Corporation, here in Dallas. He was a very active member of First Methodist Carrollton Church (2201 E Hebron Pkwy Carrollton, TX 75010) where services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1:00pm. There will also be a viewing at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave Dallas, TX 75243 on Friday May 31, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, he would prefer a donation to First Methodist Carrollton Church's Memorial Fund. He was a devoted husband and father will be missed by all his loved ones and countless others.
