STOKES, SR., Clyde W. Clyde Willis Stokes is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Stokes and son, Clyde Jr. A 1961 graduate of Bishop College; member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Retired from DISD after 30+ years as coach, teacher, dean, assistant principal and principal at Pearl C. Anderson, O.W. Holmes and Boude Storey; Kimball, Pinkston and Wilmer Hutchins HS. Survived by his devoted daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Aric Cooper. Services will be 11:00 am Monday, June 10, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church, 5002 S. Central Expy. Omega Omega service 6:00 pm Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Laurel Land Funeral Home Chapel, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Fwy.
