ECKEBERGER, Betty Jane McGee 89, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 22nd at Wildwood Chapel, Restland Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Waxahachie City Cemetery, 400 S. Hawkins, Waxahachie, Texas. Betty was born in Dallas, Texas to Charles F. and Gretta McGee on September 23, 1929. After graduating from Waxahachie High School in 1947, she moved and settled to Richardson, Texas. Her work career, as an administrative assistant, ended when she retired from Collins/Rockwell in 1991. Betty was an Honorary Member of Beta Sigma Phi and enjoyed playing bridge. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F and Gretta McGee of Waxahachie, Texas and her brother Charles F. McGee, Jr. of Lufkin, Texas. Betty is survived by her children: Michael Dale Eckeberger of Plano, TX, Pamela Eckeberger Dennis and son-in-law David Dennis of Plano, TX and Brian Wayne Eckeberger and daughter-in-law Melinda Syrios Eckeberger of Plano, TX; Grandchildren: Hugh Alexander Dennis and wife Rachel Halsdorf Dennis of Forney, TX, Bryce Truman Eckeberger of Plano, TX, Austin James Dennis and wife Dustine Blake Dennis of Anna, TX, Cole Menelaos Eckeberger and wife Danielle Smith Eckeberger of Celina, TX, and Jake Hamilton Eckeberger of Plano, TX; Great Grandchildren: Brookelyn Shae Dennis, Mackenzie Jo Dennis and Zoe Ray Dennis. Pallbearers will be her five grandsons and David K. McGee, her nephew.
