Anita S. Weisbrod
'A cheerful and irrepressible spirit,' of South Orange, 93
Anita S. Weisbrod (nee Saber), 93, passed away peacefully in her South Orange, N.J. home on June 22, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
A cheerful and irrepressible spirit, always quick with a quip and a laugh, Anita was beloved by many friends and extended family; family was everything to her. She was enormously proud of her grandchildren and their achievements.
She loved to travel, from France, to Egypt, to China, though Italy remained her favorite. A great reader, she enjoyed her work as a librarian, and she adored a great mystery.
She is survived by daughter, Ellen and Tom Lambert; son, David Weisbrod and Joan White Weisbrod; grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Kramer, Suzanne and Greg Canali, Jonathan Weisbrod, Aden Lambert; and great-grandson, Vincent Canali. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Joshua Weisbrod, and their son, Jon.
Graveside service will be on Thursday, June 27, at 11 a.m. at B'Nai Abraham Memorial Park, 2600 Route 22 E., Union, N.J.
