Catherine Kumba Viskinda suddenly made her transition on May 9, 2019.
Born in Firestone, Liberia, Catherine was a resident of Easton, Pa.
She retired from UMDNJ as a surgical technician. She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament St. Charles Borromeo R.C. Church.
Catherine was the daughter of the late Francis Fallah and Jenneh Viskinda.
Beloved mother of Yanique Solomon and Jenneh Clarke, she was the loving sister of Yawah, Gertrude and Teresa Viskinda; caring grandmother of two grandchildren; she is also survived by a host other relatives and friends.
The celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Borromeo R.C. Church, 610 Clinton Ave., Newark. Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 66 So. Grove St., East Orange, N.J., and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service at Blessed Sacrament St. Charles Borromeo R.C. Church. Arrangements are by Whigham Funeral Home.
