Agnes Plungis (nee Shimonis), 92, of Cranford, N.J., passed away March 6, 2019. Born Feb. 13, 1927, in Elizabeth, N.J., Agnes and her family moved to Cranford in 1956.
Agnes was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Charles. As per her wishes, there will not be a viewing or funeral; she wished to be cremated and laid to rest with her husband.
Agnes was a loving mother to her daughter, Carol, and her sons, Stephen and Victor. She was the cherished grandmother to Christina Mauro (Brian) and Jennifer Della Valle (Neil). Agnes is also survived by great-grandsons, Jack, Alex and Neil.
