Montville resident, 88, known for her Irish soda bread
Anne M. O'Reilly, 88, of Montville, N.J., passed away on Feb. 26, 2019, at Morristown Medical Center.
Anne was born and raised in New York City and spent two years in Ireland as a child before returning to New York. She moved to Montville and resided there for 55 years.
Anne was a member of the Mountain Lakes Seniors Group at the YMCA. She loved baking and gardening and was well known for her Irish soda bread. Anne also loved attending her grandkids' sporting events.
Prior to retirement, Anne worked as a produce clerk at ShopRite in West Caldwell, N.J.
Visitation will be held at The Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, N.J. 07005, on Monday, March 4, 2019, from 5 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at 10 a.m., at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Rd., Montville, N.J. 07045. Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, N.J. 07936.
Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband, John J. O'Reilly; her devoted parents, John and Mary Mulhern; and her caring siblings, Jack Mulhern and Mary Mulhern.
Anne is survived by her loving children, Mary Cummins, Anne Marie Burgoyne (William) and John J. O'Reilly II (June); and her cherished grandchildren, Connor, Logan, TJ, Lauren, Billy, Shauna, Katie, KellyAnne and John III.
