Dominick A. Nitti died peacefully on June 20, 2019.
Dominick was a beloved, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his two sisters, Ann Nitti and Grace Zuppulla; his nephews and nieces, and his grandnephews and grandnieces. He was predeceased by his father, Arturo Nitti, and mother, Rachel Nitti; his brothers, Louis, Arthur and sister, Marie.
Dominick was born in Newark, N.J., on May 10, 1935. He spent most of his life living in Newark. Upon graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Dominick served his country and had an honorable discharge. After returning from the Army, Dominick returned to his roots in Newark, and took over the family business and ran it successfully for 30 years.
Dominick retired and resided in Morganville, N.J. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed going to the health club, and enjoyed walking on the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore.
There will be a viewing and prayer service on Monday, June 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Waite Funeral Home, 501 Hwy 79, Morganville, followed by the burial services.
