Mother of five, school and racetrack nurse, of Long Branch
Ann Elizabeth Weber Mulcahy passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2019 surrounded by family. Ann was born in Newark, N.J. She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Francis C. and Kathryn Weber, and her sister, Kay Oberlander. She was a graduate of Marylawn of the Oranges and Marymount College in Manhattan.
Ann was a nurse at Monmouth Park Racetrack for 20 years. Prior to that, she was a school nurse at the Fairlawn School in Middletown, N.J.
Ann is survived by her husband, Paul, whom she was married to for 57 years; her five children, Michael, Long Branch, N.J.; Diana Webster (Robert), Doylestown, Pa.; Charles (Laura), Ottawa, ON; Paula O'Grady (Kevin), Ardmore, Pa., and Robert (Kathleen), Wall, N.J.; the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Theresa, Tara, Emily, Owen, Kiera, and Brady Webster, Conor, Evan, Griffin, and Molly Mulcahy; her niece, Karen Oertly, grandniece, Jennifer LeDuc, and great-grandnephew Remy LeDuc.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 8, at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach, N.J. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, N.J.
