Beloved wife and mother; cherished grandmother
AnnMarie Micchelli (nee Nilsen), 75, of Fairfield, N.J., passed on Wednesday July 24, 2019, in the arms of the love of her life, her husband, Michael.
AnnMarie was the beloved mother of Marie Micchelli, Nicholas Micchelli, Debra Micchelli, Theresa and her husband, Eddie Jones; AnnMarie and her husband, Jerry Norton and Toni and her husband, Jay McManus.
She was the cherished grandmother of 12, adored honorary mother of Lauren and Eileen, dear sister of Norman and his wife, Marilyn Nilsen and Wayne and his wife, Bonnie Nilsen. She was the loving aunt of Christopher Nilsen.
Before her retirement in 2017, AnnMarie was employed by Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey, as the administrative assistant at Horizon School in Livingston, but to the people she worked with there, she was family.
Mrs. Micchelli was an active parishioner at St. Thomas More Church, a Cornerstone Sister, Cursillista, and a Lady of St. Isaac Joques Assembly of the Knights of Columbus.
The funeral is Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield. Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. St. Thomas More Church, Fairfield. Entombment is at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
