Angelo A. Lepore, 87, passed away Wednesday evening, April 17, 2019, at Bright View Assisted Living.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, April 22, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Rd., Lake Hiawatha, N.J. (973-335-4700). The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 23, at 10 a.m., at St. Pius X R.C. Church, Montville. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J.
Born and raised in Newark, N.J., Angelo was a resident of the Pine Brook section of Montville, N.J., for over 45 years.
Mr. Lepore earned his BS in pharmacy from Rutgers University in 1953, and subsequently served in the United States Army during peacetime.
He was a pharmacist at the Walgreens Pharmacy in West Caldwell, N.J., for 22 years before his retirement in 2013. Previously, he was the proprietor of the Ashland Pharmacy in East Orange, N.J.
Mr. Lepore was preceded in death by his wife, Sofia Lepore (nee Boccardo), in 2016, and a sister, Levia Bridgida. He is survived by his two daughters, Maria Lepore and Michelle Knapp; his siblings, Vincenza Boccardo and Pasquale Lepore, and two granddaughters, Lauren and Kristen Knapp.
