Alice B. (nee Blose) Kiefer, 83, died on Friday, May 3, 2019 in Glen Ridge, N.J.
Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, (www.ProutFuneralHome.com), 370 Bloomfield Ave
nue, Verona, N.J., will be on Tuesday, May 7, from 4 to 7 p.m., with a service to follow at 6:30 p.m.
A lifelong resident of Verona, Mrs. Kiefer graduated from Verona High School in 1953 and had continued many close relationships with her classmates.
She was a 25-year member of the Verona Service League, where she volunteered in the thrift shop and nursery.
Mrs. Kiefer enjoyed spending time in Point Pleasant, N.J., with her family and friends.
She had worked at NJ Bell Telephone in Newark, N.J., and also served as the secretary- treasurer for Kiefer Brush Company in Verona.
Mrs. Kiefer is survived by her husband, Alan Kiefer; her son, Gregory A. Kiefer (Patricia), and her granddaughters, Catherine & Mikayla.
She was predeceased by her parents, Clair and Ruth Blose, and her sister, Barbara Jester.
