Allan Hess, 61, of Union, N.J., passed away at home on June 2, 2019.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, with a funeral service being celebrated Thursday morning at 10 a.m. Interment is at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
Allan was born in Elizabeth and was a lifelong resident of Union. He worked for the Union County Parks Commission for 20 years as a grounds maintenance person before retiring. He was a noted lifelong Mets fan.
He was the son of Bernard Hess and the late Lucille (nee Burdi); brother of William and his wife, Catherine, and uncle of Rachel Castiblanco.
