Marine Corps veteran, Cranford resident for over 60 years
Anthony Corello, 90, passed away Thursday May 9, 2019.
Born in Newark, N.J., Anthony lived in Cranford, N.J., for 63 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1948 to 1952.
He had been a sheet metal foreman.
Anthony was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the VFW, as well as a huge member and part of the Garlic Rose Bistro.
Friends are invited to visit Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West in Cranford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. at Saint Michael's Church, 40 Alden St., Cranford, N.J. Interment is in Gate of Heaven, East Hanover, N.J.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Carmela Corello, and his beloved wife, Gladys Corello.
Surviving are his two sons, Tony and Marc Corello.
