Arlene Clifton, 84, made her transition on June 20, 2019.
She was born in Newark, N.J., was a resident of Union, N.J., and a former resident of Irvington, N.J. She was a graduate of South Side High School, Newark, N.J.
She was a retired outpatient biller at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, N.J., and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Newark.
She was the beloved mother of John and Derek Clifton; dear daughter of the late George and Alma Rosemond, and loving sister of Ralph Rosemond. She is also survived by three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Whigham Funeral Home, 580 Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., Newark. Interment is at the Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, N.J. Visitation is on Thursday at 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
