Arthur F. Brunner, 96, passed Feb. 19, 2019.
Born in Paterson, N.J., Mr. Brunner resided in Pine Brook, N.J., since 1959.
He served in World War II as a Marine Corps bomber pilot.
He was employed for many years at J.P. Stevens Textiles in New York City, retiring in 1987
Mr. Brunner belonged to the Montville VFW, and was a member of St. Pius X R.C. Church, Montville, N.J., a charter member of St. Pius X Knights of Columbus, and was instrumental in construction of the new church.
Surviving are his wife of 74 years, Ferne; his daughters, Ferne Founds, Patty Gamsby, Cathy Powers, Mary Fisher, and his son, Artie.
Visitation is at the Keri Memorial Home, 125 Main St., Lincoln Park, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass is on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X R.C. Church, Montville.
