She leaves to mourn a devoted husband, Ernest Hairston; mother of Michael Anthony and Crystal Louise; grandmother of Jasmine Barber; sister of Lillian Watkins; sister-in-law of Margie Hairston. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Service on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Canaan Baptist Church, 1600 Newton St., NW, Washington, DC 20010. Family visitation from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m.
