JACKOWITZ--Ann, Age 74, died on April 21. A writer of fiction and non-fiction and advocate for social justice, LGBTQ issues, and breast cancer research, she worked for 30 years in nonprofit fundraising. Married to Barbara Taff, her partner of 33 years, she is also survived by her sister Leslie (Alvan) Ramler. A celebration of her life will take place August 18 at the Plaza Jewish Community Chapel, New York City.
