August 29, 1956 ~
December 30, 2018
Andrea Greeno, 62 years young of Salt Lake City, Utah was called to peace on December 30, 2018 under the care of her daughter in San Diego, California. One year after being diagnosed with Glioblastoma Brain Cancer, she was strong and kept fighting.
She was born to parents, Nicholas and Henrietta Ciaramella, on August 29, 1956 in Long Island, New York. She graduated from East Rockaway High School in 1974. Shortly after, she followed her dream and moved west residing in San Diego, California for a short time before making a home in Denver, Colorado then Salt Lake City, Utah.
As a Mother she sacrificed much of herself for the happiness of her children and spent the last six years with her granddaughter and got to see her twin grandson's first year of life. Andrea's work ethic was unlike anyone else. She would make you laugh while telling stories with her hands and would never hesitate to offer herself to anyone in need. She loved new places and when she traveled you knew she left a piece of her heart there. She shared personal details from the food she tasted to the people she met; her experiences became yours that way. She had a love for miniatures and her ever-growing fairy garden. Her memory will be held close in the hearts of many.
Andrea married the late Thomas Greeno in 1982 and they lived together in Denver, Colorado before his passing in December, 1988. She is survived by her children, Bradley Greeno (Melissa), Ashley Damm (Bradford); 3 grandchildren, Gabriella Greeno and grandsons, Seven Damm and Luke Damm; siblings, Frank Ciaramella, Carolyn Harrell and Marianne Tutone; further survived by partner Kemp Snow and dog Stevie; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends whose lives she impacted.
Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Greeno, mother Henrietta Ciaramella and father, Nicholas Ciaramella and her dog Lacee.
Celebration of life and Mass services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, 2015 E. Creek Rd. (7900 S.), Cottonwood Heights, UT.
