Dr. Albert Moniz  
Doctor Albert Moniz passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on the January 15, 2019. He was born in 1927 in Fall River Massachusetts to Manuel and Angelina Moniz. A pediatrician for 42 years, he cared for three generations of patients, providing compassionate and loving care to both his patients and their families. He is survived by his wife, Betsy Moniz, his sons, Al, Andy and Mike Moniz, his daughters, Lizabeth Moniz and Mary Reilly, his sister, Angelina Sullivan, four cousins, eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 19 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax from 2 to 5 p.m. A Celebration of Doctor Albert Moniz's life will be held on Monday, January 21 at 11 a.m. at Saint Leo's Catholic Church in Fairfax.
