ALMA IRENE SNOWDEN CURRY  
Departed this life peacefully at her residence in Rockville, MD on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Known to most as Irene. She was Snowden Funeral Home's final third generation operator, with more than 50 years of dedicated service. Irene is survived by her loving children Cheryl, Rupert, II (Christine) and Robert, Sr. (Gloria) Curry; devoted grandchildren Robert, Jr., Daniel, Sr., Karl (Betsy), Anthony, Sr. (Nancy), Brittany (Sheila), Kimberly, Haley, Rupert, III (June) and Jamaal Curry; a host of great-grandchildren; countless other relatives and numerous friends. Irene was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Rupert Curry, Sr. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 608 N Horners Lane, Rockville, MD from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, December 21, 2018 at Inter-Denominational Church of God, 19201 Woodfield Rd., Gaithersburg, MD 20879 from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
