Anne M. Corley, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 6, 2018 in Bloomington, IL. She was born September 21, 1934, in Chicago to Arthur and Ruth Ritchie. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Arthur and Ruth Ritchie, sister Mary Jane Aylward, and her son Tim. She had been married to Emmett Corley and was a loving mother to three sons, Brian (Katharine), Tim (Ping), and Tom (Chauntelle) and grandmother to Jake, Hannah, Alex, Jordan and great grandmother to Mia and Lucious. Anne was a spirited woman with great sarcastic wit and sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Anne had several office jobs in downtown Chicago as a young woman, but especially enjoyed working for designer Raymond Lowey in the 50's. A highlight was when he asked her to be one of the models presenting American Airlines with the new stewardess uniforms he had designed. A brief service is scheduled for Saturday, January 12th 2019, 2:00 pm in the Chapel at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
