NAGLER, ANASTASIA NICK Anastasia N. Nagler, 93, of Miami, FL, died peacefully on December 18, 2018. She was the daughter of Jewell and Anast Nick, and sister to Virginia (Pattillo). The family moved to New Smyrna Beach where she graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School. During World War II she met and married John Nagler, a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserve. After the war they moved to Miami where they raised their three children, Rand, Becky and Greg. Later, she was employed by Jordan Marsh in 1966 and then began a career with Miami Dade Community College (1969-1985). While there, she earned her AA degree in July, 1982. Her life was fully lived, filled with love and sorrow, joy and sadness, hope and despair. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all she met. She was pre-deceased by her sons, Rand Nagler and Gregory Nagler. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Butler (Raymond); 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and daughters-in-law, Mary Nagler and Maureen Nagler. She taught us all how to truly love and live life. Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday the 12th of January at 3:00pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church located at 11295 SW 57th Ave. Miami, FL 33156.
