Amaris Moreno, 71, of Miami, FL passed away peacefully January 2, 2019, after a brief illness. She was born in Panamá City, Panamá on February 11, 1947 to the late Pedro and Policarpa (Pazmiño) Rebolledo. Amaris married her love, Anel Moreno, on December 26, 1970. After being blessed with three wonderful sons, the family started a new life in Miami in 1981. Amaris was a dedicated executive office manager to the previous CEO and Chairman of Perry Ellis, Inc. for many years. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling, trying new foods, and her Spanish soap operas. She was kind, loving, encouraging, passionate, and fiercely positive. She always strived to be a role model to her community. She is survived by her husband, Anel; sons, Aaron (Rachel) Moreno, Jonnas (Joannie) Moreno, and Eleazar (Stella) Moreno; beloved grandchildren, Juliette, Ian, Jayden, Damien, Abigail, Isaac, Ivan, and Jaxon; many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Her mass was held on Monday, January 7 at 11 am at Our Lady of the Divine Providence, 10207 W Flagler St., with internment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery to follow at a later date.
