Adrienne R. Drummond-HayJune 6, 1921-December 23, 2018Adrienne Drummond-Hay (nee Southin) was born in Squamish, British Columbia, and grew up in Vancouver. At 20 she graduated from the University of British Columbia, and then worked for the Canadian government during World War II. She frequently said the D-Day landing on June 6, 1944 was the best birthday present she ever received.

Adrienne immigrated to the United States in 1949, and became a US citizen in 1960. She taught for the Las Lomitas School District in Menlo Park from 1961-1988. Adrienne continued to support the District after retirement by substitute teaching and working for their school foundation.

Adrienne is survived by four children: John Dillon, Eric Drummond-Hay, Charles Drummond-Hay, and Leslie Drummond-Hay; seven grandchildren and a great grandson. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no memorial service.
